Overview
RIGINT offers in-browser tools that read details about your own screen, connection, camera, microphone and speakers. We don’t require an account.
Screen tests
Display details such as resolution, pixel ratio and refresh rate are read from your browser and shown on your device only. Test patterns are drawn locally.
Speed test
When you run a test, your browser exchanges test data (random bytes) with our server to measure latency, download speed and upload speed. We don’t save your results, but standard web server logs may record the requests, including your IP address. Recent results are kept in your browser’s local storage until you clear them.
Camera and microphone
The Cam & Mic test asks your browser for access only when you start it. Video and audio are processed in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers. The 5-second recording stays in the tab’s memory and is discarded when you record again or leave. A snapshot is saved only if you click Snapshot, and it goes to your own device.
Stored preferences
Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Clearing site data removes it.
Analytics
We use Bigheim Technologies, LLC’s analytics service to count visits and understand which tools are used. It does not receive your camera, microphone, key presses or other test content.
Advertising
Ads are delivered through Bigheim Technologies, LLC’s advertising service at ads.bigheim.com. Ad requests include standard connection information, such as your IP address and browser headers. The service records ad impressions and clicks. Your camera, microphone and test results are not included in these ad requests. Clicking an ad takes you to the advertiser’s site, where their privacy policy applies.
