What this page reads

Screen Test Station shows details your browser already exposes about your display: screen size, pixel ratio, color depth, color gamut, HDR support and measured refresh rate. These are read and shown on your device only. We don’t send them to our servers, and the test patterns are drawn locally in your browser.

Findings and reports

The findings you tick and the report you copy stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Stored preferences

Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Clearing site data removes it.

Advertising

Ads are delivered through Bigheim Technologies, LLC’s advertising service at ads.bigheim.com. Ad requests include standard connection information, such as your IP address and browser headers. The service records ad impressions and clicks. This site does not include the display details shown in its panels in these ad requests. Ads are paused while a fullscreen test is running. Clicking an ad takes you to the advertiser’s site, where their privacy policy applies.

Using Screen Test Station

Screen Test Station is a free tool that shows test patterns on your display. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Flashing images

The Color cycle pattern changes color every two seconds. Some patterns show bright full-screen colors. If you are sensitive to flashing or bright light, skip them or look away.

Not a diagnosis

The patterns help you spot possible display faults, but results depend on your browser, scaling, zoom level, viewing conditions and eyesight. They are not a warranty assessment or a calibration. Browser-based tests cannot fix permanent burn-in or dead pixels.

Information shown

Display details are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Third-party content

Advertisements and linked sites are run by others. We aren’t responsible for their content, products or practices.

Provided as is

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from its use.

Placement

Creative format

Supply a 600 × 500 image plus a headline, short description, destination link, and call to action. On wide screens, the two sponsored placements flank a permanent advertising panel and fill the full available width. The row stacks on smaller screens.

Station styling

Artwork uses our monochrome filter, scanlines, and subtle signal-glitch effects to match the station. Original colors appear on hover or keyboard focus. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
